I don't know about you but I very much dislike this huge change Twitter is proposing to make.
Although, as this article outlines, there are many plus sides to the removal of the 140 character limit, I think it actually gets rid of Twitter's USP. Love it or loath it, it's different.
Twitter is one of the only fast paced social media platforms, with continuous news bursts and updates that are quick and easy to read. Surely the platform will now turn into Facebook with long, in-depth updates? How many tweets will now be ignored with the increase in text? Not great for the marketing side of Twitter.
